Movement at last!
At last I have managed to find a few hours to craft. Didn't do a great deal but I enjoyed myself - I made a few birthday cards and finished three journal pages. Not overly pleased with the results but I will keep practising and hopefully I will please myself soon - nothing personal just quotations that I quite like.

More goodies from the weekend
This is the stuff I bought at the Papercraft show in Harrogate. Now I must make the time to use them.
Goodies from the weekend
Thought you might like to see all the goodies I bought at AFTH's 10th Birthday Party - so everything you see in the picture together with 3 workshops - can hardly wait

Evie's card
At last I have taken another photograph of the birth card I did for the latest addition to our family. The flowers on the card were the ones used on the wedding invitations for Emma and Steve's wedding - I thought it seemed appropriate.

Knitting
My daughter doesn't want my new grandchild to be in pink all the time - so I have made this for her.

A very productive weekend
Wow - I can hardly believe all the things I have done this weekend - no housework - but who cares about that! Here is the cardboard book I have made as a lasting memory of the crafting weekend that Angela held for us last month.

A tin
As you can see I have been busy reading my July Craft Stamper magazine. Not too bad a result, I didn't make the cards for the inside as I am using this tin for storing my binder rings (well I think that is what they are called).

Evie's book
Evelyn Hope is now 6 days old and I have completed her little book. I have added doodling etc to the inside pages but basically it is the same as the photographs I posted a couple of weeks ago.
I have now 'personalised' it just for Evie. It is not a work of art by any means but I have enjoyed the making of it and I have learned a lot, which is good as it is my first attempt at anything like this. Several of the pages I really like, some are OK - one or two it might be better without and two pages are stuck together, hopefully, never to be seen again. Overall I am pleased with the result just hope Evie and her Mum and Dad like it too.

I can't believe it
My daughter gave birth to her first child last Sunday - Evelyn Hope weighed in at 5lb 14oz - I made the new family a lovely card and I cannot find the photograph to let you all have a look! Must remember to take a photo next time I go visit my beautiful granddaughter.

The Mum To Be
Emma, my daughter, hosted a little afternoon tea party for her close family and friends. Kerry her friend organised everything, we all sent a piece of fabric that had special meaning and she made it into a quilt for the crib. We also took along a button or bead and Emma made these into a bracelet. So when the time comes ........ not long now, she will have all her special friends with her.
Baby book
I recently attended a 'Journalling for Beginners' workshop at Art From The Heart, as you can imagine I came out full of ideas. I decided I was now proficient enough to make a 'Baby Book' for my daughter who is expecting her first child at the beginning of August. Overall I am pleased with the result, I really like some of the pages whilst others could have been better.
